SUSK Holodomor Commemorations 2015
Every November, Ukrainians around the world commemorate the Holodomor, perpetrated by Stalin’s Communist regime against the Ukrainian nation. The Holodomor involved the extermination of millions of Ukrainian farmers in 1932-1933. Because most victims died from state organized famine, Ukrainians call the crime the Holodomor (destruction by famine). This year’s National Holodomor Awareness Week will take place November 23-29, 2015.
