Would you like to travel to Ukraine as a volunteer?
Year 2016 is a Year of English in Ukraine.

One of the things Ukraine is doing to promote learning English are school summer language camps. Ukraine needs volunteers – native/fluent speakers of English – to help the Ukrainian teachers and to provide opportunities for the Ukrainian kids to hear and learn authentic English. Ukraine Ministry of Education and Science placed a call for volunteers on its website http://www.mon.gov.ua

If you have a Ukrainian background, it is a wonderful opportunity for you not only to help teachers and kids in Ukraine to improve their English, but also:

  • to reconnect with your relatives in Ukraine;
  • to pick up some Ukrainian or to improve what you already have;
  • to see the city or town where  you will be volunteering;
  • to  travel to other parts of Ukraine after the camp is over;
  • possibly to check out other European countries because Ukraine is Europe and everything is so close.

How Does It Work?

You pick the city or the region where you would like to volunteer and we help you to connect with the regional coordinator who will assist you with placing at a certain school.  The camps dates are 1-14 June, 2016. Accommodations can be provided by local schools.

CUIA fund established a close contact with Odesa region governed by a famous reformer, Mikheil Saakashvili.

This region invites Canadian volunteers to work in the following historic cities and towns with access to Black Sea beaches:

Odesa (Kryzhanivka area), Bіlgorod-Dnistrovs’kyi, Izmyail, Ovidiopol, Kiliya, Kominternivske. Free accommodation will be provided.
