We’ll be hosting our first HOMEMADE Perogie (Varenyky) Night of the year next Saturday, October 22nd, at 6 pm over at 375 Huron St. (close to King’s College). We make the dough and filling old school style, and then when you guys arrive everyone gets a chance to shape them. This year we’re making it a semi-potluck, so if you have a famous concoction you can bring, that would be awesome. However if you’re in rez, or perhaps burn your food all the time, don’t fret. There’s going to be lively Ukrainian music, lots of food, and some games to get you all mingling. Don’t forget you can BYOB, because few things go better with varenyky than some pyvo (beer). The event is totally free, but we do ask you to bring a couple of bucks for our charity.
Bydmo!
