The University of Toronto’s Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (CERES) is pleased to announce the sixth bi-annual Graduate Student Symposium entitled “Ukraine: Lessons of the Past and Outlook to the Future” to be held in Toronto on March 14-15, 2014. The goal of the Symposium is to present new research and innovative thinking that explores the political, socioeconomic, and cultural dynamics in Ukrainian society.

We are proud to announce that this years keynote speaker will be Dr. Andrew L. Wilson. He is a Senior Policy Fellow at the European Council of Foreign Relations. He was previously a Reader in Ukrainian Studies at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) at the University College London. Dr. Wilson is also an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
