In March 2014, Ukrainian Canadian Students’ Union (SUSK) and School155, Kyiv, Ukraine started a joint project in order to commemorate 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko. In the first phase of the project, SUSK prepared a video featuring Christine Czoli (2014-2015 and 2013-2014 SUSK President) and Cassian Soltykevych (2014-2015 SUSK Executive Vice-President, 2013-2014 SUSK Media Director). Christine and Cassian read selected works of Taras Shevchenko in English and congratulated the students of School155 on their commemoration of the great poet’s life.
