McMaster Ukrainian Students’ Association (MUSA) presents:
The 10th Annual Golden Horseshoe Volleyball Tournament!
It’s that time of year again! Time to take out those lucky sneakers and jerseys and compete against your friends and other Ukrainian student clubs at MUSA’s Annual Golden Horseshoe Volleyball Tournament!
“Shto tse volleyball tournament?/ What is this volleyball tournament?”
– Every year MUSA holds a volleyball tournament where Ukrainian student clubs and other organized teams compete against each other for fun, honour and prizes!
– Before we start the volleyball tournament, it’s tradition to kick off this event with a Pre-Tournament Pub Night where you can meet your competitors as well as reunite with your friends from other schools
– After the tournament, MUSA holds a Dinner and Zabava! The tournament is celebrated with an awards ceremony, delicious food and with a Zabava!!!

Volleyball Tournament:
Glendale Secondary School

Team Registration: 8:45 am
Tournament: 9:30 am – 4:00pm
Payment Options:
1. Early Bird Registration*: $375/ team (Online Deposit** by Jan. 12, 2012)
2. Regular Registration*: $400/ team (Online Deposit** by Jan. 26, 2012)
3. FULL Payment Option*: $375/ team (pay online in FULL by Jan. 19, 2012)
*Registration fee includes lunch & zabava ticket)
**Online deposit is $150. The remaining costs must be paid on the day of the tournament at Team Registration (8:45 am). The difference must be paid in order to play. The Online Deposit is nonrefundable.
Teams:
6-8 people/ team; at least 2 players of each gender/team
(at least 2 players of each gender must play at all times)
Awards include 1st place, 2nd place, and MVP for both competitive and recreational leagues as well as a BEST DRESSED TEAM award.
- As of January 13, 2012 at 18:00 EST there are ZERO (0) Recreational Spots and ZERO (0) Competitive spots left. Once filled only waiting lists will be available for those interested. The waiting lists are on a first come, first served basis, and are reserved for cancellations by registered teams. Please email macmusa1280@gmail.com with any specific questions or concerns.
