Walk With Ukraine – WALK-A-THON

On August 13th, SUSK hosted a national Walk-a-thon, inviting Sweat With SUSK participants and the general Canadian public to join us in Walking with Ukraine. This event was organized to raise funds for the heroic people of Ukraine, whose lives have been torn apart by the ongoing war. Families have been separated, and brave Ukrainians continue to sacrifice their lives on the front lines to defend their country.

Purpose:

The Walk With Ukraine – Walk-a-thon aimed to gather support and raise funds for Unite With Ukraine. This organization plays a crucial role in protecting Ukrainian defenders by providing them with essential supplies such as fuel, medical equipment, night-vision goggles, protective gear, and vital communication systems.

Fundraising Efforts:

All proceeds from the Walk-a-thon were donated to Unite With Ukraine, ensuring that our defenders receive the support they need.
