I hope everyone is as stoked for Oktoberfest as I am. So here’s the deal, as discussed in some earlier meetings, we want to do “Ukrainians Invade Oktoberfest” where essentially we will be going to the Queensmount Okotberfest fest hall and showing everyone how to drink!! Feel free to dress up in your your ukie get ups, I feel as though it would only add to the night. The polka king of CANADA WALTER OSTANEK will be playing, and if you’ve ever heard any of his polka mastery, then you know it’s like cashmere on the ears.
This is taking place on the night of Thursday October 13th and doors open at 8:00pm. This means we will meeting for a pre-drink at 6:00 (location TBA) and then head over to the fest hall around 7:00/7:30 to make sure we don’t get the back of line.
Come out to the next WUSA meeting as we will be discussing and planning it even more. I hope everyone can make it out so we can all have a great time!!
